I doubt that finger tight is enough. If you want *you dont have to if you already have good temps* tighten it more with those pointy pliers. Im thinking the close the hs is to the proc the better cooling.

yeah..i have a tt bt also..there great coolers man.. and since you have a intel you should go for more of an increase in your oc...i got from 2.0 to 2.92 on my 3800 c2 which is almost a 50% increase...you went from 3.0 to 3.6 =P ..20%... and its intel so teh ghz'zs are a lot higher..go for at least 4.0 you can make it esay and you'll still be way under 50c's alright well... if you have any questions for icong or about the bgi typhoon just pm me -trey

You are only supposed to make it finger tight.
And in my opinion finger tight is more than enough unless you are very weak.
Making it more than finger tight isnt going to lessen the temp either.

I hit a speed bump here!
What should i do?
I tightend it up with needle nose pliers but not to the point where i felt the bolts tight but enough to the point where i grabbed the heatsink and motherboard and felt no loose slack. Help!!!!

as long as u dont over tighten the bolts they wont snap, but as for there being no looseness i was told by my boss that when doin up nuts and bolts u should do it up to the point of where it feels solid but not to the point where the bolts r going to snap on u. Also it depends on what diameter the bolts r the smaller the diameter the more chance u have of snappin the bolt. But if it felt like it wouldnt move anywhere when u had them finger tight i would put them back to finger tight, thats just wat i think
