Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my system to a 920, and was hoping to get some ideas of what I should get with it. I'm only really planning to keep my hard drives, and my case. My goal would be to get it to overclock to at least 4 if that's a reachable goal. Price limit is 2500, help please!

If the RAM is above 1.65v, he will need to get some 1.65v sticks.

Ram is ram, as long as it is the correct voltage, it will work.

The only difference between the kits (tri-channel, dual channel) is how many sticks of ram they sell you.

I had a 955 BE System last summer, then my 13 year old bricked his C2D comp, and I said hay perfect excuse to build me a i7 rig.

If I had it to do over, I would have just built another AM3 rig.

Do you need the i7 for encoding or anything? If not, I would just upgrade your video cards, then get your 2 monitors ( or even 3 for eyefinity)
