yeah, I think you did make a mistake. When first looking at it, the psu looks good... but a couple things.
1. it has low amps on the 12v rails. 14, and 15 are hardly becoming a 550w psu. The 450w FSP in my 2nd rig has more power on the 12v rails than that psu does.
2. thermaltake makes some good products, but I don't think I would personally get one of their psus.

If you can try to cancel the order, if it's already shipped see if you can send it back to them and exchange it for a different one. if you can't... well then sell it and get a new one.

Since you are going to be running SLI GTX's you need a really hefty psu.
The best choice would be a PC power and cooling (the 800 something watt one) but the 510 express would probably do.

other psus that would handle the job:
Seasonic S12-600 - best choice for under $200
FSP epsilon 700w
Enermax Liberity 620w
Silverstone Zeus

these are all quality psus that will run your power hungry rig. but they are also quite spendy. If you just don't have the money (I can hardly belive that if you can afford 2 GTX's) then you can probably look at the sunbeamtech nuuo 550w. it has 18a and 20a on the 12v rails which would be much better than that thermaltake... but it is not as powerful as the other psus I already mentioned

thanks... i managed to get the psu cancelled and i ordered a antec one... it is a dual rail with 19A on each rail... after ordering everything else i was on a budget of about $130 counting shipping.. so i looked thru a few forums here and some guys said that with a dual rail.. u just needed to add the rails together to get a estimate of the amps... with in this case would have been 19a and 19a which made 38A...

which Antec psu? is it one of the NeoHe ones? that's the only line I'd get from Antec at the moment.

yeah... I think you're going to regret getting that psu to run your sli gtx's. Seriously, if you can afford 2 gtx's then get what I have. trust me... the psu is the most important component in your system. you can have the fastest cpu and the best gfx cards and if you feed them crappy power they'll perform crappy... it's as simple as that.
