I have the Eco but havent installed it yet. There's a lot of talk about leakage, has anyone experienced this? I'm thinking of using electrical tape on all of the pump unit's seams just in case.

I have had several closed kits and none have ever leaked. I do have one question though, does anyone have a cure of a slightly noisy pump? Currently running a Coolit ECO ALC 240, which was silent when the mobo was vertical, but now its horizontal is making a slightly different and somewhat annoying noise.

Not sure if this has been discussed here before but according to the Coolit Support Manger the Rad hoses should be on the bottom when installed. Having them on top will cause all hell to break loose:

"Shawn,

I understand your comments. Your question about the preferred installation was prior to my coming on board with CoolIT Systems. Your question may have been misunderstood.

If you run your PC system 24/7, having the radiator installed upside down should not be an issue as the air bubble mixes with the coolant. The issue comes into play when you turn your PC system off when it is not in use., air rises to the top of the unit, then turning in on again.

I am merely pointing out that if you wish to use a liquid cooling product which uses a radiator, you should pay attention to this.(strictly for your information)

Thank you for your patience,

Andrew Wildgoose
Service and Support Manager"
