I couldn't find a newer version on Intel's site than the one you listed, so that is what I installed. I'm at 535-540MB/s on 8MB blocks. Sound about right for being SATA 3.0Gb/s-limited?

I thought this might be of interest since we are all trying to increase start-up time, etc. with our SSD's. Not knowing too much about this "Startup Delayer", I can only assume that it might be useful in taking some of the heavy lifting off the SSD, thereby maximizing its speed even more.

I must have missed that discussion... Why would we want to increase start-up time? I'm pleased Windows is up and running in under 20 seconds!

The idea behind Startup Delayer doesn't include taking some of the heavy lifting off the solid state drive, but rather its purpose is to make some startup items start at a later time - like maybe a few seconds after Windows is finished starting everything else.

So the theory is that this can provide similar benefits to reducing the amount of processes and programs that start with Windows without actually disabling anything.
