Well, there is no fan, so it's horrible at moving air.

It is however designed to move heat. So, as long as you have good air flow in your case that should be fine.

It sounds like you've already made your decision... Just look around for some reviews of it before you buy it.

Also, take some measurements in your case and make sure you'll have enough room for it. It is a pretty big heatsink.
