Not good at the moment Due to the weather,

Went down about 4 > 6 degrees,

Now looking at getting some new Tim Shinetsu as I think AS5 takes to long to set,

I made a post asking about the different Shinetsu pastes nad there conductivity but not had many responces, link Above Sig Rig.

Cheap GPU pot I made for myself:

My previous bartx pot after i lapped it:

Just a heatsink:

Stock heatsink:

A little heatsink i made to cool an NF200 chip:

Even after all this Im still not confident enough to do a CPU...

Very nice, overshocked, thanks for sharing. I can think of a few downsides to lapping a cpu; voids warranty and hurts resale and I can only think of one upside; better temps. So lapping a cpu is a pretty serious decision. I did mine because my old heatsink some how put a nic in the core heat spreader.

How hard was it to make that "cheap-o" pot you said you were using for yourself and how much did it cost to make? That top one that's rectangular is awesome but I already know that is worth a lot more $$. I'd love to try doing some DICE runs but I can't afford a pot.

As long as you're aware of the upsides as well as the downsides I say go for it!

Don't forget to post some pics when you do.

The cheap-o dice pot i made works supprisingly well, especially if your only doing dice.

Made some for a few buddies, i could make one for you if you'd like.

The materials cost me about $35 after the mounting bracket and all. I could sell it for not very much profit just to get some more folks into sub-z.

Maybe 40+ shipping?

Or ive got another Dice pot that is much heavier, made from a nice 478 heatsink...

Looks much more ghetto, but works soooo good...might go as far as to say its my best dice pot.

Anyway, im kinda done with dice, so if you wanna buy any i could sell to you cheap. I moved on to ln2.

The top one is my beauty... cost me $280 to get made. Weighs in at 3.4 kg, so it holds a load like a champ. Not for DICE though, it would suck at dice. Much better for ln2.
