Help with temp readings.

Hello....i have a wonderous amd barton 2500+ but am wondering.....i always get 2 cpu readings...one is the cpu diode and the other is the cpu.....this si on asus probe or everst home editon....which one do i trust more? or which one should i read my readings off?
