Creative Gigaworks S750

Hey GUYS,
i wanted to buy a new speaker system around teh range of $500
i found this speaker in this website http://us.creative.com/products/prod...3&product=9306

is a 7.1 system with 25hz to 40,000 khz,,
i dondt' listen to bass much and highly prefer the high pitch tone
so is this the right speaker for me??
pLz give me some advice,, thx very much

I have the S-700's (5.1 version) and I love them. The sound is VERY adjustable to your likings.

And one more question... if i buy the X-fi extreme music sound card,, does it support the 7.1 setting? and are there enough input slots for the cables of a 7.1 system,, thx

I don't know if you want suggestions or not; but Logitech also has some very nice speakers. www.logitech.com Creative also makes very good speakers though, so you will have great sound either way you go; and yes an X-fi XtremeMusic will support them.
