Ati X800XL missing temp sensors and atitool shows it defaulting to 425MHz/520MHz

Hello, I have a Powercolor Ati X800XL. It's been rebooting my computer. I finally narrowed it down to the video card. So I have 2 questions, first my card shows no sensors in the ati tool. I've tried .24 and the .25 beta. No luck. 2nd - it's defaulting the core speed to 425Mhz and the mem to 520Mhz. Everytime i boot up and look in atitool or everest it says it's running at those speeds, not the defaul 400/490. Anyone know why I don't have sensors and it's defaulting like that?

Sounds like it has a modded BIOS. Did you buy the card new or used?

New from Newegg

Should I try to flash it and see if it changes?

Have you tried hitting the default button and then go into the ati tool settings and look around and check and see what it is setup to load when windows boots.

Yes. Atitool detects that the actual defaults are 400/490. however, when windows boots it's loading them at 425/520

Bump...

Anyone know why my X800XL doesn't have the LM63 temp sensor chip?
