When you press ctrl+alt+del and select the tab processes you will see a bunch of processes running and you may be unaware what many of them actually do. You may be wondering if one of them is a virus or you may just want to know if it is safe to end certain ones to free up memory. For the most part is safe to end any process under your administrator name except for explorer.exe but I would not recommend ending any processes under SYSTEM.
