Hi,

Hope the post is correct here Mr Mod .
Who can help me boosting my AMD Duron 1300, i dont really get it. i am a amateur. Read a lot but it`s not really working. Jumpers are set correct Asus a7a266. i want to boost my CPU max. till 60/65 degrees, who can provide me MHz setting/info for this?
Multipier * FSB = not working, it hangs on re-boot because ?.... memory and cpu is not working on the right speed..?! this is the part i do not get.

If the CPU is locked you can't change it!
The "L1" bridges would need to be connected to get the multiplyer variable to work in the BIOS!

Remove the FHS (Fan Heat Sink) and liik @ the L1 bridges tey kind of look like the example below

The first are joined and the second 2 are not.
You can join them with a very sharp #2 or better a #3 pencil, just be sure to NOT cross connect them.
The memory and CPU not running on the correct speed ... do you have the FSB jumper set correctly on the MB?
