My Mini-ITX Build M350 Case - Page 2

Thread Starter
Yeah i Love the M350, i just put a 60GB Corsair SSD in and its runs so much cooler, Mechanical drive was a heat pit, so now i can really turn down the HSFan.

i would like to try out some more SFF cases. maybe i will custom build a steel one.

That's funny 'cause that's exactly what I'm running in mine w/ a full size GPU and h50 H20 cooler. lol

I just noticed they recently came out in silver too!

That's amazingly small. I was thinking of a zotac / i3 type build with one as well, but heat would be a problem you'd think.

How's the case now it's completed weight wise?

a couple of Lbs(pounds), it would vesa mount behind a monitor or a tv with no problem.

the m350 is super perforated so it uses that for a natural convection(air in bottom heat rises)the case does get a little warm to the touch in places, it kinda acts like a heat sink being steel and all. I imagine it depends on the board you use, my zotacs capacitors heat up a bit, they are the hottest part of the board, the cpu stays cool, when i have it on its side with the cpu on the bottom it cools much better. Having the PSU as a power brick out side the case helps a ton in keeping the pc cool.
