Prescott 1.8A -> 2.84

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
I tried cpu clock of 158 to get 2.84 out of 1.8A.
160 and 159 were not stable.
Folding@home is still running.

I have ASUS P4P800 DELUXE as mobo.

I don't know much about ram timing. How can I change it and what does ram timing make difference of?

I have two pc3200 512 sticks for dual channel.

Thanks

In your BIOS... go to Advanced Menu -> Chipset. This is where you can change ram timings
You will see something like "Configure DRAM timings by SPD" ... it should be changed to "Disabled" so you can manually set your timings.
