it really is about 1/4-1/2 inch thinner than a standard drive...

Well you definitely put a bee in my britches with your build. I even figured out which case you got. The PC-Q07 sure is small. I may build one myself. Would make a great storage system for school. But I think a SSD is the way to go

I just wonder if I could cram the H50 inside the case for CPU cooling. lol

Not a lot of room for much is there. I'd have to go with the ASUS PCE-N13 wireless though. I really like this WiFi adapter.

lol i was thinking of an h50.. but there is no room for me to mount the rad and fan lol.. unless i do a clean like outside install with it angled lol

naah no point.. my little bro is just using ms word and mozilla on it...

hence why i am leaving it stock cooling...

some guy said that i should put my i7 cooler on there... he just doesnt understand how small this motherboard is... i had to cut that little cooler because it was touching the ram... it really has practically no room lol...

Yeah I noticed that when I saw the dimensions of the PQ-07 in it's stock form. I think that an H50 would be perfect. I've been reading reviews @ newegg and from what I've seen, the Zotac could benefit from having an externally mounted cooler. You got the $50 MoBo I'm guessing?

A case that is 11 3/8" tall and a little over 7" wide isn't going to have room for much. It's a wonder that Zotac even bothered with the PCI connection though.

I have to get the plans from you if I purchase and mod the case. I've already got the bulk of the parts, just need case, MoBo and CPU. lol

If I weren't committed to my current build I would start on it instead. But my HAF is pleading with me to stuff it full of goodies.

Seriously though give it some more thought on the H50 cause Mozilla by itself is a heat generator. My netbook used to run Mozilla and it would just burn my lap. More so than iE or Safari.

Oh an you been nominated.

the H50 will barely fit in there, especially since he kept the ODD. If he scraps it, he actually might be able to fit in there. though he'd need to make a new front plate cover the ODD bay. Then I'd say he would have to mod the top to fit a 120mm fan BUT the rad would have to be left out.

but the problem with the H50 is that you can't separate the rad and pump/block to make it work to your liking. so the whole for the fan would actually need to be bigger to fin the tubes and what not through. even with that it'll be a very tight fit.

EDIT: let me clarify, the H50 can be taken apart but its not meant to be. so if you do, its just extra work that may not be worth it is what i'm saying.

Nah I got him the 140 dollar one...
This is is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-035-_-Product

Well. The h50 won't fit cause he needs a cd drive. As far as cooling goes i cant do much more to it. I can fit another cooler. But there doesn't seem to be a point. I like the way it looks.

All that's left to do is lighting and the power switch

Yeah I doubt H50 would fit in...

With those pictures, it's amazing!!!

I was the one thinking about the i7 cooler (or a normal 775 that is not half height), but I guess if OC will not be something important, he would survive
