In some other thread I recall someone breaking the 1ghz mark with just stock volts. Quite surprising to say the least.

As for adjusting the volts use MSI Afterburner.
Whats wrong with the reference model!?

Stock volts I could only do 980/1300. Maybe 990-1000 if I kept the temps under 70c. Above 70c lock-up driver errors occured. With a 1.268 dump gave me 1050/1300 loading at 76c, 36-38% fan. It seems Afterburner doesn't support the card and smartdoctor is a pain to work with.

Are you talking about the V2? Or answering my post about the V1?

Nothing wrong with it. I'm just saying that people who have this card have had higher clocks with lower voltages. So basically in V2 they fixed some stuff such as a bigger fan.

Yes same card, mine came last week. No new OS install just used driver cleaner and manual uninstalled the rest then installed CCC.

You should hit 1000/1300 easy around 1.24-1.26 range, from what I seen. That is if you can get smart doctor to keep your voltage settings. After restart/shutdown the voltage settings are set differently for me.

BTW: When you took off the heatsink, was the hynix memory same as reference cards far as model number?

I thought Hynix oced better than Samsung. Some on Extreme are getting 1400-1450 with Hynix and Samsung's were topping out at 1300-1350. This was on 5770's thou.

I assumed V2 had Hynix.
