now i can o/c to 2403mhz with divider 133 and htt 4x, but can't o/c more higher!
i think my value ram won't let me o/c it! when i set to divider 166, it hangs!

i have a big problem!
when i start running prime95 to test the stability of my cpu, the windows xp crashed, the lsass.exe, svhost.exe, etc. were all terminated and can't open windows again! although i set htt to 3x..........
at last i set back to 2205mhz and everything fine!
i really don't know what are the problems!

put your dividier to 100 to see if its your processor or memory then run it ..you wont run it at 166 with that ram ..oh and how hot is it?

i really don't know what's wrong with the windows, when i try to run at 2.4ghz, the window crash!!! but when i back to 2.2ghz, it ran normally!

52degrees... woah! too hot!!! your getting into a very high temp range dude... max your gonna wanna do is 50 on air... you might want to think about water cooling or a better cpu cooler.... i have my 3000+ running at 2.6ghz on water with load temps at 40 degrees and on value ram. even getting a cheap thermaltake system does wonders... granted it's not ment to run much else other than the cpu block... but it does the job considering that's what i'm using for the time being.

is that mean i must buy a better cooling fan or even water cooling.....
when i back to 2205mhz, load temp was 47 degree.....
but really can't o/c to 2601mhz or even 2403mhz with my stock fan???

no u can't.... if you're getting load temps that high you're going to want to keep it on the OC on the downlow. like i said anything above 50 isn't good at all! it's horrible. a thermaltake water cooling kit comes with everything you need and will keep those load temps super low compaired to air. it might be $100 but it works pretty well for what it is.

stock anything, unless it's a stock AMD FX cooler, isn't going to work well with overclocking. look around... they make some great air coolers that are well worth a look at around $50 but for another $50 you could get water cooling.
