Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI and 3000+ Overclocking:( - Page 5

Thanks A lot... It must be a problem of mine... of anything else... cause from windows I can push it up to 2400..... well, I don't know what else to do..... maybe I'll have to overclock from windows everytime I boot.

I tried your bios, your exact settings and didn't work (even the ram numbers which i don't understand). It goes up to 214 EXACTLY and cant push more.

I won't EVER... but EVER buy gigabyte again

Could it be a PSU thing???

mind sharing the settings in the bios? I did everything from increasing DDR voltage, cpu core, chipset...etc Still refuse to go above 212. I can use easytune in windows to clock to 2.2Gh @ default voltage, no problem. Bios wise BIG headache! tks.

you are doing something very wrong if you can only get those clocks, start a thread and we can get it sorted.

I can also confirm this board is a dawg for overclocking!
It is simply broken, and Gigabyte won't help or acknowledge there being an issue.

Seems that the PCI clocks go out of sync too if Bios overclocking.

Fine in Windows, and still no bios update to fix it.

212 ..the dreaded number, I do recall getting 220 on a much earlier bios number though.

There is a Auto detect PCI Clk option in the F7 Bios.
