Build component recommendations please!

Well I am new to OCN but have been trolling() around the forums for quite some time now and was mesmerized by looking at the awesome rigs that you guys have in your signatures. I have now decided that its time I tried to build my own rig(after lots of work earning the money ) and i thought it was best to consult you professionals here about what components I should buy.

I have a budget of maximum 1400USD(about 60k Indian Rupees), can't exceed that at all!. Make that 1500USD, about 66k Indian Rupees
I would probably use the computer for quite a bit of gaming, photoshop use and watching movies(which I suppose any computer would be able to do well)

Anyway if any of you guys want to help me with the components, you can check out www.deltapage.com or suggest any other parts!..(ignore the cheap design, and I can't use newegg or any other site cause they don't ship to India)

The budget includes the price for the display, case and everything else, any help is appreciated

Thanks for taking the time to recommend some components!
Also its not necessary that all the suggested components need to be posted there, I can probably get my hands on any components you recommend

AMD790GX M4A78T-E 16x,V,8 ch S, L,F, DDR3 8650
Phenom X4 Quad X4 - 955 BE 3.2GHz, 8M, AM3 8250
DDR 3 -1333 GSkill 2 * 2 GB = 7xxx
1GB 5850 ATI PCX-16X,D,DDR5 17800

Seagate 1 TB 4000 (32MB)
Samsung DVD-Writer 22xD 1100
Samsung 22" 2233SW+ 50000:1, DVI 9050
Zebronics Cabinet (I assume is case) 1000-2000
SMPS Zebronics 600w Platinum 2950

I think that is a whole system there for around 60k

You can always get a smaller/cheaper monitor. The MSI brand vid card is 1000 cheaper, you can get a 500GB HDD vs the 1TB and save 2000.
Basically the AMD Phenom II 955BE is best bang for buck or you could chance a 720BE and unlock the 4th core. Either way, the 955 or 720 both with overclock well. Get 4GB DDR3 ram, and an ATI 5850 will be awesome gaming for long time, unless you want to go a little cheaper and get the 5770 that you can later Crossfire. That about sums it up for me.

I understand you are an AMD Lover, but do you think a i7 system under that budget is a possibility? I have nothing against AMD, its just that I want to know what options I have

Again, you can suggest any components..you don't have to restrict yourselves to anything that you don't find on the site I mentioned. Also I just increased the budget to 1500USD, thats about 66k INR

I don't want to spam, but I just made a rough list of components for an i7 build..it would be great if you guys could go over it and suggest any changes:

Processor: i7-930 / 2.8 GHz ----Rs14550
GPU: 1GB MSI 5850 ----Rs16700
Display: Samsung 20" 2033 ----Rs7200
RAM: G-skill2X2GB ----Rs7500
HDD: Seagate 500 GB ----Rs2300
MOBO: ASUS RAMPAGE-II-GENE ----Rs16100 (Really doubtful about this!) or MSI X58 Pro-E ----Rs11300
PSU: Zebronics 600w Platinum ----Rs2950 OR Huntkey 500W(which I already have..)

And would I require any special cooling? There are quite a few here http://www.theitdepot.com/products-C...vises_C10.html
I was thinking of getting a CORSAIR H50 for CPU Cooling..

Thanks

^ good mouse selection, love my deathadder. anyways, if you can overclock or wanna learn how you can easily overclock an i7-920 to match or beat the performance of a 930, but its just a couple bucks difference. the u12p is a great cooler, i got a 920 to 3.8 ghz stable with it. i'm not sure how much it would be in rupees, but its about 60 dollars. also, for a 20 inch monitor you may not need a 5850. a 5830 or a 5770 might be better, but a 5850 is good if you want to be future proofed.
