Can I run dual channel ram in a non D.C. mobo?

if u get duel channel memory and put it on a regular board will the memory just funtion normally...just wondering( i know if the board isnt duel channel ready it wont function as duel channel memory ) if it would work as normal ram...

If the board doesn't support duel channel then it'll simply run as single channel
