Birthday PC? - Page 11

I'm all for the hex-cores from AMD, and they're great CPUs from what I've read. But it seems like you'd get more use out of a 4 core, either a Zosma or a Deneb. I believe Zosmas come out soon and their upping the clock speed on the Denebs. (I don't know much about the difference, besides the Zosma being a 6-core with 2 disabled.)

Thats good to know. I do have some time to wait on this thing. Around June is where I'm going to order this thing. Haha

That would be great if you could order a 6 core, with 2 cores disabled for less then your 6 core listed, unlock the cores, or core, and overclock!
And ofcourse saving money on it.
better do your research. See if others have unlocked those cores, and the success rate.

The one in my sig I have had for about a year now, and I love it. I've generally heard good things about Xion, and if I ever build a new one I'll be buying from them.

P.S. Zosmas were supposed to be released with the Thuban, but since it's product binning (2 bad cores) It might take some time for them to be on the market.

I used to own an Apevia X-Cruiser, sold it to my cousin. I'm not much for cases with folding fronts, but some people do.

I see you are in Canada, I suggest you order from NCIX, they have a price-matching system, so you just go on shopbot.ca search for your item, then link it to NCIX, also if you're in certain provinces (like I'm from Quebec) you get only GST tax = 5%... Also shipping is flat at 5.99 for everything in stock, if it's over 25lb, you'd need to pay 25$ instead for everything.
