Is there anything special about it? I figured it was as easy as cleaning the existing TIM, then putting a dab big enough to cover the heat spreader/die. I was hitting about 92C with 1.05v, so I'm currently at 775/1550/1700 at 1v (might be able to go higher, just wanted to get temps under control). Temps ingame are pretty decent, about 60c. Heaven benchmark hits about 75C.

Its sorta different, from what I've heard, and I used this personally, you gotta put a line of TIM across the heatpipes in order for it to spread properly.

Interesting. Thanks, I'll keep an eye open for that.

I have a quick question about overclocking my card, is it safe to keep the card with the voltage raised for constant use assuming I keep the fan up and everything? I heard it can reduce the card's lifespan which is why I ask, I'm a bit new to overclocking GPUs. Thanks.

It might take a few years off the life of the GPU(so it'll last 10 years instead of 15 or something). Even if you pump 1.2v through it, I'm sure it will be obsolete by the time you have to worry about it failing. As long as it doesn't go above 105C you should be fine.

I don't know how good MSI's warranty is. If you had EVGA they would replace it if you had any problems, even if it's from overclocking. Generally, you can't absolutely prove that overclocking caused a failure so MSI would probably replace it for you anyways.
