You have a 470?

I believe the first command will be the disable overwrite protection, did you enter that?

Yeah I have a 470. Yes I used the Nvflash.exe -r command also. I have just watched a youtube vidieo of the flash procedure so I will see if that can help also.

First use command '--protectoff'. It will ask which lane you want to to this to. You should have choices like 0 and 1. Note this. Now when you flash use the long command. '--index=x -4 -5 -6 BIOS.rom' Replace x with 0 or 1 for your slot flashing of choice.

How far can you guys go on "Grunion's Bios" with the stock cooler. I loaded the 1.15v one and I just stopped here for now.

I got to 800, 1600, 1900 with 1.1 volts on Grunion's 1.15v. I was using an 8800gt for a physx at that time but decided there was no need for it. When I took the 8800gt out my overclock was not stable anymore, so I'm back to 750, 1500, 1848 with 1.1 volts. Maybe that 8800gt was doing more than I thought it was I don't know. I thought it would only be working with certian games.
Makes me if its possible that offloading physics calculations can let you overclock further.

I'm at 800 core, 1600 shader, 1848 memory with the ocx480 BIOS. Using 1.05V. I think I can get about an extra 15mhz on the core with no additional voltage. Temps are too high at the moment so I'm not raising the voltage any more until I can remove the stripped screw from my 470 and reseat the cooler.

I use Evga Precision and it works fine, since I also have E-Leet i just change the voltage there if needed.
