I got plans for more. This OC is Folding Stable.
Looks good! Do you think those would fit nice on 2 cards that are sandwiched together in SLI? Hard to tell how far they stick out and I think on your motherboard your slots are spaced futher apart, unlike mine.

EDIT: And does the card itself stay cool withouth the cover on for the fan to blow air through and cool the VRM's or does just the plate left on them keep it cool enough?

To answer your question, yes you would be able to fit them nicely, though you may want to consider getting a single-slot bracket to save you hassle. You will have to make a few tighter curves with the tubing but that's ok. It will fit no problem.
The card stays plenty cool without the shroud. I simply turn the fan speed to 70% at all times to keep the vrms and themem chips cool. In fact it may be better since
1. The regular heatsink does not touch those regardless
2. There is less hot air re-circulating inside.

The CMW80 with the G80 bracket fits it like a glove btw. It was fun and TOTALLY worth it. At only 53$ a pop, It's a good deal for a universal GPU block compared to those 120$+ Fermi only Blocks.

Guys what do I need to do in order to get started with overclocking my EVGA GTX 480 on stock cooling? I already have MSI afterburner, do I just turn up the core clock and shader clock? What should the memory clock be on? Also my voltage slider seems to be locked, don't know if that is how it is suppose to be or not...

Sorry, newb here with the Firmi. Just got my waterblock installed. Time to push it hard
If I run the overvolted EVGA bios on my vanilla EVGA card, will I be able to run over 1138mv?

Right now I can do 900/1800/2080 @ 1.138 and core temps dont go over 55C

Nevermind. researching gotmy answer. Flashed my own bios not. 940mhz is fun.
Can't hit that magical 1ghz thought

Alright what is Open the bios dump? That's a little too technical for me! Can you keep it simply for us noobs please? Why are there not any You Tube videos showing us none techheads how to adjust for more voltages?

What he is saying is, download Nibitor. Then run it. You want to extract the existing BIOS on your card (Nibitor can do that). Then you are going to edit it and adjust the voltage and save it as a new BIOS (make sure you save the old one before you edit it as a backup).

Hello

If i go to Tools > Read BIOS > Select Device and error just comes up saying "Cant start driver: 1275"

I am using NibiTor 6.5 and am running win7 64-bit, and i tried running as administrator.

Note: in Win7 (32bit) it is fine.

Any suggestions are very appresiate

UPDATE: nevermind I found something there is an issue with 64 bit, I need to Dump the bios with gpu-z, change file to .rom, open with NIB.

THX

Just got Afterburner 1.60 ,and noticed I can go higher than 1.87 with the voltage. Is there a safe max ?? Also ,really would love to add an aftermarket cooler to my 470.They must be coming out soon??? The Palit and XFX cards look really tasty !!!
