It gives me a error "cant start driver 1275".

Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for any damage done to your card. If you mess with it while the BIOS is flashing, or do not know how to use nvflash, I'd suggest not doing this. If you don't live in an igloo or have good water cooling I'd suggest not doing this.

You have to use GPUz to dump your bios first. When you open GPUz look to the right of the BIOS version box. There will be a little button that will allow you to save your BIOS to file, do that. Then, open NibiTor, and select "File" then "Open Bios" and open the BIOS file you just made. Now in NibiTor select "Tools" then "Fermi Voltages". When the box comes up, only change the top box, that is the max voltage Afterburner will allow you to set your voltage to.
Here's the important part, save this BIOS as a different file from your first one, say "voltmod.rom" that way if you have a problem with the new one, or you have to RMA your card, you can flash it back to stock. Have fun!

I tried clocking to 850 and putting voltage to 1.138. Pc crashed, smelt burning (smell coming from VRM). Looks like the tiny heatsinks that come with the spitfire aren't enough, gotta go buy that VRM cooler thing.

You mean the V2? 90-C1CPD0-X0UAY0BZ?

I've owned 2 of these among my 470's, one came with a VID of 1.025, the other at 1.0v. Neither were good overclockers, and one crashed at voltages over 1.055v. It would just freeze upon setting it in Afterburner.

The black screen during a Furkmark test sounds more like crashing due to clock instability. Tried if 1.087v works on stock core/mem speeds?

Is it the bios of the card that make it that way, or something in the design?
How can i fix it to go higher?

anyone here think that when the 580 is out we can flash out 480's to its bios to enable extra shader units?
