getyasome: That's a great clock for an unlocked 465. thumb.gif At those speads, you are almost getting the performance of a GTX480 for the cost of a GTX465. biggrin.gif

bakageta: This link should help you out.. The 3rd paragraph down is editing the Voltages. And this link should give you some helpful tools, and fill in some blanks.

Thanks billy66bare for the Info, much appreciated, there is another Bios in that list with a higher voltage level EVGA Identifying - 1.21v max. - Temporarily down. I just would like to know how many volts you can pump through these cards. My Temps are low so I was wanting to try to go higher but I don't want to fry the thing trying.. Or should I just leave well enough alone ?

OCCT 4.0.0 just ran for 30 minutes no errors.. Shader Complexity on 1, what should that be set on? I thought I read somewhere a while back to set it to 4 but I'm not sure.

Thanks Again Mate.

1.21 is about the max before you start to have troubles with the VRMs. When I stress test anything, I use all the max settings I can get. You aren't really stressing a card if it's running at 90%. That's just me though. Running 3DMark on Extreme or Performance for a few hours is a good all around test. I usually run a couple of runs of Heavan, and OCCT/furmark maxed out for about 30 minutes. GPU's are kinda goofy in my experience. You can run test after test flawlessly, then get artifacts in games. So games are always the final test. biggrin.gif

I have the memory up to 1902 without any errors 850 / core 1700 / shaders / @ 1.150 volts

That might be where I stay for awhile as I don't think it will give up too much more but I could be wrong.. Thanks for the info Mate , that's what I wanted to know.

Hello, theoretically I can flash EVGA BIOS to PNY card, but has anyone done that successfully?
Reasons:
I'm having minor issues with my PNY card. Happened few times that PNY card suddenly jumped to 100C and fan would go up only for 1 second and go back to 40%. At the same time EVGA is running and 56-62C with no issues at all.
"Default" overclock. Now I'm applying OC on PNY card to match EVGA and would only want to overclock those when needed instead of 24/7.
EVGA - Version: 70.00.1A.00.70
PNY - Version: 70.00.1A.00.03

Is there any reason/benefit to put SC version on those?

If they are both reference cards you can.. Many, many people have done this flash to change brands.
You don' t want to flash an OC'd BIOS unless you are 100% sure that you are stable at those speeds. If that' what you are asking.

Well. I have the a3-275, and 10 chips. But the extra 2 vram won't unlock with the bios flash. Used evga ov 470 first, then tried the stock pny 470. Guess i'll give some others a shot.

hello , i was wondering what kind of psu are you guys using to power your heavily oc'd gtx 480?
i have 2 of them watercooled and would like to squeeze the power out of them . If i want to have the voltage set to 1.2v for both cards and have 900c, how big of a power supply should i need? oh i forgot to mention that i also have an oc'd cpu, but it's oc'd through its multiplier so theres no voltage tweak on the cpu.
thank you for the reply

I would advise something along the lines of a 950w PSU. I would do a bit more research though to see what brands you should really consider (not just for quality, but for price, too).

so with a 950w psu, i can run 2 heavy oc'd gtx480's in sli running furmark without any hiccup ? I heard furmark draws about 1200w (system) with sli'd gtx480 is that true?
