Maxxmem and Pifast are the benchmarks. There are no cooling limits or clock limits this time, it's all about raw frequency and latency
CPU speed has little impact on maxxmem so the air guys can compete here with some good ram tweaking and Pifast reacts in a very similar way with more of a focus on core speed.
Rules:
1366 user must run dual channel. ( This is just to keep the competition tippy top and keep it to 4 classes )
No unreleased hardware.
All submissions must be formatted and comply with hwbot standards.
All submissions must use the background provided.
Any cheats will be banned from this and future competitions.
If you submit it wrong and someone gives you a big red stamp you can't QQ
example PiFast submission linky
Any member of the OCN Forum wars team can approve or reject scores other than their own. These guys are getting good at it now
You can enter all 4 classes if you can handle it.
Oh and I guess you want prizes?
1st place in each of the 4 classes will take home $40
2nd in each of the 4 classes $20
3rd in each class gets a pack of appliques.
MushkinNick has also donated some prizes;
First Place: 16GB USB Drive
Second Place: 8GB USB Drive
Third Place: 4GB USB Drive
Quite a nice basket we've got going this month. Thanks to Admin
and Mushkin Nick
Thanks a lot guys.
In the event of a tie the lowest latency on your maxmem score wins, if it's still a tie then the highest write will decide then copy then read. If none of that works you must fight to the death.

Not compulsory but it would be appreciated if you would post pics of your setup here http://www.overclock.net/off-topic/7...dness-rig.html
If maxxmem becomes unresponsive at any time during the bench the score is invalid. Any of these scores will be spotted and removedNow know what to look for in bugged runs
