Hm, you're right.... I might actually try that
I just hope AMD Overdrive's settings don't eventually become permanent... or else, disastor

AMDOD=trash unless you're fiddling with drive strengths which I doubt you are get yourself k10 stat and easy tune.

Was just thinking lately actually, since AMD Overdrive actually applies your settings to startup I won't be using it; k10stat seems to be the best alternative.

Never had great clocks either Just messing, just isn't as good on this board, reads everything funky. CPU-VID works well tho, only way I could get a c2 stable above 4 was using amdod for voltage

I actually have very few problems with the overdrive program... a reboot after a failed overclock results in things being reset to the values defined in bios.

It will only apply your settings at subsequent start ups if you tell it to.

I am just a beginner when it comes to overclocking and using overdrive i have gotten 4Ghz out of a 940 and 4.21 Ghz out of a C2 965 -both on air.

The only real issue i have had was trying to use it in conjunction with the max fsb automatic overclocking feature the msi GD-70 board comes with. They just wouldn't play nice together.

i just got a board in the mail that supports amdod..... not an nVidia board that's for sure.

Unfortunately the M4N82 Deluxe is only rated up to 1200mhz on DDR2, so the UD3 is going to make it a bit more interesting says up to 1333mhz on the box...Thanks Gappo!
