With the right motherboard and cooling you have a good chance of making 2.5 - 2.7GHz. I would not use stock cooling on a Winchester. You would do better with a Sempron (Venice Core w/256K Cache) as since the memory controller is on chip there is not nearly the difference in latency and stream problems with smaller caches in AMD's as there is in Intel products. You could buy a 2600+ (754) Sempron and take it to 2.6 - 2.7Ghz and have no problem with the stock cooler.

You would also get SSE3 extensions as well. The Sempron Venice Core is a fine piece of silicon (imo) for value gaming.

The newcastles are known as average overclockers...starting at 2.2 you could expect 2.5-2.6. Anything higher than that would be an amazing achievement. You most likely will get to 2.5. These cores run kinda hot too, but they do like voltages....good luck.
