Is there a way to force a program to use 100% of your cpu?

Programs such as Prime95, OCCT and IntelBurn Test. But IntelBurn Test doesnt alway use 100%. if you want 100% try out Prime95 or OCCT.

He did, you didn't make yourself clear.

Are you saying you want to just have ANY program load your CPU to 100% to max it out/stress it, or you want a SPECIFIC program to use 100% of your CPU to increase performance for that program?

The former is what he said, the latter can't be done reasonably. If a program is less than 100%, it's either not written to use all your cores, or it's performing to max efficiency and no more raw power will assist.

Well you said for a CPU to 100%, but you can change a programs priority in Task manager.
Just right click on the program where you want to set most power you. on real time.
This way you force that Windows sends most of the CPU power to that specific program.

PS. A bit more friendly response wouldnt be out of place, I tried to help you by sharing my knowledge.

Hmm yeah I lost respect for OP, made himself seem immature saying "You didn't read it right."

Each Program uses a certain percentage to run efficiently, because using more would be useless, It makes no sense to max out the CPU to run Firefox or anything else, as there probably wont be any gain as it uses all it needs.

No, people have lost respect in you (me inclusive) for not making yourself clear enough in your first post AND THEN telling someone who was trying to HELP YOU that he "didn't read it right".

Grow up.

Oh, wow, you can bold a sentence to show emphasis after the fact. Look, I can do the same thing:

The immediate answer most of us would think of in a CPU oriented forum (as opposed to a software forum) is that somebody wants to max out their CPU, not increase performance to a program. Make sense?
