It's my new wallpaper.

May I make a constructive criticism?

On the flame, the edges look bad. Maybe a little bit of smudging to take care of the jagged look?

It's one of the things I didn't like too. Cheers for the criticism I'll deffo update it at some point.

Hey, I have your first criticism! Please counter with your own attack as necessary.

The texture on the letters isn't correct. That's a texture you want to use if you have letters on the base of a surface and they have to look like they're cut out of that surface. That texture and lighting makes the letters look like they're removed from the picture to reveal a textured object with a single light source.

Therefore, it doesn't work since "OCN" and the subtitle have shadows behind them and appear to be covering up some bars. At best, it looks like that wallpaper was made with solid letters and then someone dremel-cut out the insides of every letter. My suggestion is that you use a very solid texture with no lighting, then rasterize everything and make a light source for the whole thing rather than just the texture on the letters but not the letters themselves.

P.S.: Your drop-down shadows on the letters are below-right of the text, but you have an even glow from the OCN logo and the bars behind the text, plus there's a top-right shine coming from the texture on the letters.

And I'm done! Nice ideas!

There's already a larger 16:10 version (1920x1200), use that, it will be automatically resized.

Yeah, maybe try just the 3 straight lines behind the flame, and no outline around the flame at all, see how that looks, good job though
