Thanks for the info, and for not being a butt. My intent is the same.

I enjoy learning about this stuff. I'm more focussed on silence than most on this forum, but I find you folks very informative. Gracias.

Actually, I think he meant that he's heard the D5 is quiet, and had personally found the CSP-MAG to be quiet.

Here's a review on the CSP-MAG:

http://www.systemcooling.com/csp-mag-01.html

It says the price is $50, they liked it, and it only had a slight hum.

Rock on!

Yep I got ya on the quiet thing. I read it as "it's terribly loud". Thanks for correcting my false correction

I've heard it's loud from a few reviews, but you can never tell. Some people's idea of loud is a slight hum.

I can't remember who is was, maybe it was Lando, but he said the MAG isn't that great. I'd ask him about it.

my D5 is really quiet. On the max setting, All I can hear is the low hum of all 9 of my 120mm fans, It really doesn't bother me at all. And its right next to my bed. Except when my northbridge fan acts up. and makes a weird humming noise, and sounds like its gonna kill it self. ( I really need to fix it or get a replacement.) But yea, I have the D5 and I can't hear it at all, it is inside my case though, and my case has sound dampening built in, Maybe thats why...... Oh well, I love it. And it gets the job done how I want.
