if ur mobo mfg releases a new release bios its always better to update the bios especially if 1. u havent updated for some time and 2. every1 says that is a more stable and reliable bios update...

Indeed. Agreed you should always update your bios when released as it ads more support for some hardware and can unlock some options plus there can be a system stability gain also.

so plz check ur bios setup and ur bios document b4 u comment further..

as for the performance setting if u want to oc ur system i wouldnt suggest you do that but if u r content on just running ur system without touching anything else then go ahead with the performance setting default..
Mine usually flashes for half a second or so before loading into windows, so i never bothered to look it up to try and disable it. Assumed everyone elses was the same...

Ok, well I took out that little battery, and then put it back in. It did reset everything, but when I went back to adjust my ram, it hang for like 12 seconds. Maybe I shouldn't adjust my ram at all?

Okey dokey. Also I got another question. I installed Athalon 64 processor driver, I don't think it was needed, could I delete it (it was seperate from the other drivers on my mobo CD).

As far as I know, the only time you need processor drivers are when you have a duel core. So you can try uninstalling them, can't hurt anything I don't think.

BTW you have an Athlon (not an Athalon)

No i would leave it as it helps the os to be fully compatible with it plus you may see a performance increase by having that driver.
