What are some good overclocks people are getting on 480s? These suckers get hot as you start increasing voltage.

My Camera isn't working so I hope that ^ is enough.

How can I go about unlocking the voltage on my Galaxy 465? It's capped at 1087 and that just won't cut it.

It really isn't imo.

In Metro 2033 (thanks EVGA for the freebie) and BFBC2, it tops out at 78C @ 55% fanspeed and doesn't budge from there. Guild Wars keeps the game at a nice 58C at 46% fanspeed, it is such a demanding game

It idles at 44-47C (40% fanspeed which is inaudible for me from 4-5feet) depending on varying ambient temps, and if the sun is hitting the case (case is next to a window).

Overall, I'm honestly shocked, I thought it would hit 80's or 90's, seems I drank too much of the "It runs sooper h0t, stick with ATi" koolaid. Do ATi's run cooler, yes, but it isn't anything revolutionary, quite frankly I'm extremely happy with my 470 SC+

Also, I really like the fanspeed profile that came with the card, it bumps up ever so slightly to combat raising temps, but never getting to vacuum noise, it stays within reason. I game with speakers mostly, and I really have no issues with the fan noise at all. It isn't an Accelero in any way, but it isn't a aircraft turbine either ^^

Oh, @Open1Your1Eyes0, hopefully you dont mind that I modded the sig linky a bit

Munky is happy with his 470

I prefer to do it myself so I can manage and approve it prior to added posts. It's mostly just copy/paste work so it doesn't take much time. Thanks for the suggestion though; I was actually considering it at one time.

I have finally been able to get around to taking a photo of the second GTX480 that I bought like two months ago.

Consider this my official submission for the second card:
