Yea different cards seem to have different voltages. You've got a decent 465 there (0.937v) and the other is ok too, try and see if you can hit 825Mhz @ 1.087

Different chips require different voltages for stability. The manufacturing process always produces some good chips and some meh chips. The meh chips may need higher voltage to remain fully stable.
Yes, some 465's are 470's with a different bios, but most are not. Many of those that are functional 470's were sent out when manufacturer's (PNY) couldn't provide enough 465's are launch, so they flashed the 470's with a 465 bios. And some of them appear to just be "flawed" 470's that will work as 465's, ala AMD's PII binning.

The MSI's GTX 465's http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-514-_-Product are a prime example of that. I heard that most if not all of them will flash into 470's. There was a site that was guaranteeing that they will flash into 470's but I don't remember which site it was.

Here's my Validation.

EVGA GTX 465 SC, currently running at 674MHz Core with shaders linked at 1348 MHz, memory stock at 810 MHz. I get about 11k PPD, haven't run benchmarks yet. 3DMark Vantage score on my profile is with GTX 260 Core 216, but I'll update it within the next week.

Side note - this is an external exhaust card, as all Fermi cards should be. Turning up the fan speed from the stock 45% to 75% made over 20C difference in temperatures. It is much louder, but I don't care. Takeaway: Turn up your fan speed on your GF100 card.

I keep my fan speed at 50% all the time on my 470. It never goes above 80C, which is fine for me.

Just got my Asus GTX460 DirectCU installed Was supposed to arrive saturday but never turned up untill today :l

Only ran a couple of games so far to check temps and make sure all is ok, at 40% fan speed my temps never went over 55c. So I'm pretty happy with that, fan is really quiet too. Oh and the stock voltage is 0.9750v, I take it that's decent?
