whats the most popular waterblock for the GTX 470 these days?
im assuming the 470's blocks fit the 465 seeing as they are identical in almost every way.

I canceled the stepup from the 460 to a 480 today. I'll get a pair of 460's instead to join the other
2 in the main rig, and 1 in the second rig

Why dont you step up to the 1 GB version and then get a second to match it? That seems like the better Idea since the 460's had to be dumbed down so that they wouldn't pass the 470's lol.

I wish I had a WC setup to have blocks on my 480 and future 480's. I need to start saving and maybe ask the wife for some WC parts for Christmas and then the rest for my Birthday which is February. I doubt that she will go for it but who knows lol. I guess I better be a good boy or Mrs/ Clause wont let me get some of her Eggnog if you know what I mean =D

First I would have bought the 480 for the main rig, and buy a 470 later for the second rig. The 480 is a bit too expensive over here, and way too hot imo. The 470 isnt cheap either.
I decided to cancel the stepup. To match the performance of the 480 I decided to get 2 460 1gb's.
I might still stepup the 460 in the sig to a 1gb version, or something better.(if nvidia has some plans )

Got fed up with the noise coming from my 460 EE and decided to exchange it for a reference card through EVGA's Step-Up program. Luckily they still offered a 1GB model. I can't wait to have a quiet pc again!
