Is it possible that my gigabyte GTX 460 1GB (OC version)
is less overclockable if I used the 2 pci-e pins on the same cord of my PSU, instead of using another one?

Mine currently runs at 815 Core / 2000 Memory - stock voltage.
I hear alot of ppl get it to around 850-875 with stock voltage, yet i can't seem to get mine higher. I can't even reach 875 when i set my voltage to 1.085 V
It just starts artifacting.

Are there any clearance problems while using the MCW80 with the GTX 480 stock heatsink?

Hey guys, my RMA'd eVGA GTX 480 SC has been shipped from eVGA and will be in my computer on Monday. Wish me luck that I get another awesome card but that this time I get one that doesn't die on me so quickly. Hopefully I can get this card up as high as I got the original one which was around 850 MHz with the stock cooler but I'm not going to hold my breath on that and don't think that I am going to push this one so hard. I don't need another $500 paperweight...

I'm putting together a new gaming rig for things like SC2 and FF14 (what a demanding game) and I'm looking at running two of them in SLi on my P6X58D-E (in x16/x8 configuration for space) in my HAF X. I hear the one downside is they shoot hot air back into the case. I'm going to be replacing the rear 120/140mm fan with a Corsair H50/H70 water cooler radiator for my i7 950 @ 4ghz. Will there be enough airflow to run the two GPUs in question at stock & mild overclock in SLi?
I have that card (only running one of them right now though) in my HAF 922 and as long as you have decent airflow in the case you should be fine. This thing runs at very cool temps. With my overclock and fan at 70% it doesn't go over 70 degrees while under heavy load . A side panel seems to also help quite a bit in my case and I don't think a HAF X would have any trouble running two of them at all. By the way I've got a 200mm on the side panel, 2x 120mm on the top, stock 120mm in the back and stock 200mm in the front. I run the top two antec tri cool 120s at medium and the temps are great in my case . Hope I helped and get those cards, they are awesome!

No it should not change anything.
Rise voltage to 1087mV and clock it as high as you can, mine is at 900/1800/2200 and at load it has 65C
