Not sure yet. Can anyone point me to a guide? Never overclocked my GPU before. But I want to now.

Just got back to the computer scene after a year.

Newegg doesn't carry 470s? What happened people, did they get discontinued & why?

I was planning on going SLI for BF3, even though I don't know if it's best to do that or get a stronger single card (probably stronger single card, but it's best to wait for BF3 I suppose).

They don't carry the 470 because it has been replaced by the 570. You can still find them elsewhere, though.

I will be having an MSI GTX 470 coming back from RMA on Monday. I may be looking at getting rid of it.

Depends on resolution but I would get another 470 instead. Cost/performance is amazing.

GIGABYTE GTX 470 go!
In that case, I wonder where I can get one? Hmm

Dude, if the price is right. I'll buy it! But I'm not in too much of a hurry, because I need a PSU if I go SLI. What happened to your 470 that you RMAd? How are the MSI's compared to the Gigabyte (I think mine is a B model)?

Good question!
For BF3 @ 1600x1200 I wonder what would be recommended for me. Or even at 2048x1536.

I wonder how much I should expect to pay for a new, and a used one (in good condition, hopefully).

Shortly after the GTX400 cards came out, I got an open box MSI one from Newegg for like $250. I always had issues with the card. It wouldn't overclock for crap. It ran super hot and would crash in most games. I haven't been gaming too much in the past 6 months so I didn't bother to RMA it until now.

The nice thing about MSI and their RMA/warranty system is it's tied to the card and not the original owner. I was able to put $100 down and have them cross ship me a card so I will see how it works when I get it today. I may hold onto the card though. I still haven't really decided yet.
