Pretty much my thoughts. You gotta remember, the 480's aren't as Energy Efficient as is 460 younger brothers. Start givin it more go, and you will see what we mean.

Pulling just shy of 1200w at the Kill-A-Watt on my sig rig (@4.5, 480s @ 700c, & water setup). This is still within my psu capability as you must understand this number from the kill0a-watt is total system @ the wall. For an sli setup, a quality 750w unit should be fine, though I would recommend a 850w. For tri sli, a quality 1kw-1.2kw is enough. For quad, get a quality 1.2-1.5kw unit.

I ran tri-sli 580 3gb and at their max oc (950c) and my cpu at 4.9, I was pulling about the same as the stock 480s and my cpu at 4.5.

Hey, I have 2 GTX 460s currently in my system. But dopes anyone know why EVGA never put in any SLI bridges with their cards? Every ATi card I have owned always comes with one, but never any nvidia cards. I need a flexible one and have had to buy one off ebay. So I will soon be able to post some benches with my SLI GTX460s. Its my first foray into the dual GPU world.

When you buy your motherboard... it usually just comes with the SLI bridges.. it always has for me...

My P8P67-M Pro didn't come with any. Had to buy one off ebay, so hopefully it will be here today.
