Looks like a dedicated Physx isn't needed for GT4XX cards.

Average frames only increased by 8% using a GT240 for physx, vs 52% on a GTX275+8800GT.

Cant wait to see your SLI 480 temps in that case, Should be epic.
yeah, another member just posted first-hand single 480 results in bc2 maxed, runs fine. i believe a single 480 will get me taken care of for now. my case really isn't as bad as you make it out to be though. is it the best-flowing case out there? far, far from it. but running sli 285's was never a problem. i look forward to a challenge.

edit: just ordered a 480 from newegg. the 470's are getting returned.

You got 1 monitor so it probably sits on 2D clocks. 2 Monitors make the card idle high. My GTX 285 is idling at 55C right now but it never goes to 2D clocks because I have 2 monitors.

My PNY GTX480 came with a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter cable.

Nice Mirunit.. I just got my gigabyte also. I took some crap photo's with my phone. (well the Nexus one 5MP camera isn't crap) but still. I didn't wanna get out the D40, lens and tripod cuz I wanted to play with the card so I'll do that later...

Nice work NCSpec.. i wish I had 3.. I have a second ordered at least.

That was a Powershot A480

Just ordered another 24in Monitor, so I guess the only disappointment thus far is no 3 monitor support. I do have the 8800 GTX though, is it possible to run multiple forceware instances at the same time? (197.41 + 197.13) Else I can't get the 8800 to recognize.

On another note, Nexus is a cool phone -- who is your provider?
