I have the same CPU...mine maxed out at arround 2.6 while still having some stablity. I am running it at 2.5 and it is rock hard stable. that is a 25% OC and I ussually shoot for a 20% for day to day use as i firmly believe that most hard ware can go at least 20% faster than stock.

I did have it up 2.85 before, but that was with one stick of ram and it would only POST and boot one out of ten tries. I never could even get a bench mark complete.

damn man, i guess i'll have to stop dreaming of the 3.0 i thought i could get with this ram but looking at the bright side i will push the cpu the further (2.5 now) and the ram i will see wat is the highest is can go but really stable.

people have gotten to 3.0 and above with a 3200...infact there is a bunch of threads here on it. I think it depends on what mother board they used and how many volts they were feeding the CPU and not so much what ram they had. And I am pretty sure in no case was it truely stable...and besides, these are AMD's they don't need to go as fast. A 2.0 AMD will out perform a 3.0 Intel most of the time....if not all of the time, but intel is better at multitasking and junk...I don't multitask. That's why I got seven computers in my home office.

i dont know how they got there cus this rig wont even post with something over 2.7, at 2.6 it maybe load the windows screen but after loading it restarts, but anyway i think the purchase of this ram was a waste of money since the other ram wasnt really holding me back the only thing i can do better is timings and fsb but das it.

Try this settings:
Dram: 200 (1:1)<----275mhz
Fsb: 275 or 277
Multi: 9
Cpu @ 2.47ghz( @275 ) 2.49ghz ( @277 )

Dram: 200 (1:1)<---290mhz
Fsb: 290
Multi: 8
Cpu@ 2.32ghz

If u dont get stable with this numbers try messing with the voltages and ram timings..
