Controller for two Laing D5 (MCP 655) Pump

Thread Starter
I'll put both of my pump ( MCP 655 Vario, with speed control) with a dual top in the 5.25" bay, so I don't think I'll be able to control the pump easily, I wanna know, is there a way to control the Pump with a good controller or something?

Not quite sure why you would want to modulate your pump speeds. I have a vario and leave it on setting "5" with no problems whatsoever.

To answer your question though, I do not know of any retail type of controller for the pumps.

Edit: Didn't think of the above mentioned fan controller.

This is what I use with my D5, at the back of it goes the 2 pin for power. That goes to a molex from your PSU the the pump is the 3 pin. Check the infor on it I think it can do 2 pumps of a y splitter, or jsut get 2 of em.

Doesn't mater, it's molex either way.

Absolutely. Some people run them at setting "4" and some at "5", no problem either way.

Calm down.
Go to radio shack and buy a pair of potentiometers/ variable resistors
solder them to a molex connector and you are good to go
total cost? $3
