lol, THAT IS pWNT! Nothin sounds worse then saying your 23 years and your living with mommy and daddy ops:

But who wouldn't want to live in this house...

When I first moved to AZ at age 19 I lived on my own.. well I did have 2 girls living with me, one being my girlfriend in a small, but nicely located house in downtown Scottsdale, next to all the clubs, of course after college graduation we all went our own ways.

But I can still have lotsa girls over, party hella loud till 5am in the morning and use my powered subs to there full potential. My parentsdo take off during the summer for about 3 months too, thats the real time to party!! They will be gone dureing Quakecon time.

I'm actaully about ready to move out, I've finally got enough saved up to start house shopping. When I get the House I will make one room totaly outta this world with a 5000 watt system (2) gaming rigs configured the same for a LAN setup, (2) 13,000 BTU AC Unit's , a Badass DLP Projector with 12 foot screen a mini firdge and the room will also have a bathroom attached to it. It's gonna be hard to supply soo much power to it, so the key thing for me in buying a house is to find one that has really thick 6-8 gauge power leads going to the room that I will have all of this **** attached to.

Anyone know much about running your own power leads from the fuse box to a room in the house?

Oh ya here is my old house I had, small, but got the job done during college times...

very nice setup, was just curious what kind of amplifiers you have for 2300 watts ? I am a live sound and recording engineer , i have a crown CE 1000 ( 450 watts per channel at 4 ohms ) 1100 watts bridged mono at 4ohms. Coupled to a pair of Tannoy Precision 8's ..($949 each) I use this setup for mixing the recordings that i do here in my studio.. This is pro gear... im not saying your setup doesnt sound great for what it is.. but 2300 watts is highly over inflated ...Consumer products are usually rated way over what they actually put out. In real world numbers thats putting out a few hundred watts at best. Its like when you go into walmart and see a boombox that says 500watts but any rate the jbls are nice the klipsch sub is nice .. for a good rule of thumb look on the back of your amplifiers on your sub and your head unit .. look for power consumption in watts .. then divide it in half thats roughly what it is really putting out .. enjoy.

Thanks for the great comments guys!

burnstudios - I was going off of peak power I know all about what you mean by true power. I'm not sure how big you are into car audio, but in the past years I've ran Orion HCCA 275's they were called cheater amps in the comp's They are rated at 75x2 but is 1/2 an ohm stable. I was pushing out around 1100watts true RMS with that thing at one point.

I looked up your components that you listed and WOW, thats some great gear you have, I couldn't imagine the sound quality of it.

Check out my buddies gear he is a audiophile...

His 18" Velodyne Sub is insaine and the $3500 3A Vandersteen's in the living room are amazing for quality!
