Stepping

Thread Starter
What is stepping, and what is the difference between E4 and E6...which one is better? Also, right now I have a X2 3800+ Manchester, and appears to be E4 from what I've read. Here's the exact link in case you want to check me on that:

Any help would be highly appreciated...thanks so much

Think of it as a batch number. Certain batches (production runs) will overclock better due to the conditions they were made under.
