Poor Performance.

Thread Starter
While playing a game called World of Warcraft, im experiencing rather poor performance from my system, i get some frame skips, and brief freezing. Ive checked for viruses, overclocked my video card, scanned for spyware, ran registry checks and everything i could think of. Does anyone have any idea why its like this? i dont have my graphics turned up at all, they are actually lower than default settings. If theres any programs i could run to help you guys out just let me know. Ive also ran prime35 and no errors occured, no artifacts in game either.

PS: I wasnt sure what category to post this under so if it is not in the correct spot i apologize.

the only background processes i run are basically AIM and ventrilo, and Fraps from time to time. Im pretty sure my system is stable, is there a way to check besides passing prime95 and what not?

Yes, indeed; why does it say 8 MB of system RAM, that's no where NEAR the minimum requirements. Also, perhaps you have the settings too high? Try turning them down a bit?

Ahhhh i apologize for that, i must not have pressed 7 and 2 hard enough there . Supposed to say 728. And I have turned the graphics of the game down to lowest possible and it doesnt seem to make a difference.

It sounds like a network issue to me, are you in places where a lot of people are around? your lag is most likely being caused by network issues.

some of it is in big cities where there are alot of people but other times it happens when im in the middle of no where with nobody around. I understand the big cities lag because i find that to be unavoidable with my system but middle of no where? shouldnt have problems there.
