Conky wasn't launching due to some problems with the config. I am working at creating the best 'generic' config that I can. I'm doing it now for the sake of getting it working. It can be redone at a later point.

EDIT:
Conky runs it just needs a config done nicely. I just removed the stuff causing it to crash and didn't do any formatting.

All changes are in SVN.

GodofGrunts,
I built the last revision you made and yaourt was still not building. It ended up that when the archive was extracted it created another yaourt directory within opt/yaourt/ so I updated rc.local to cd to the directory. Change was committed and its working fine now.
Thanks, I was eyeballing the changes as I went lol and was unable to test it thanks to Time Warner Cable...

Glad everything is working. Will update when I get home.

Kernel panic on latest build. Maybe bashrc? It was the only change since it last worked. Testing now...

EDIT:

I think something may have gone haywire in my build box. Error404 is testing now.

There's no way a bashrc should cause a kernel panic, unless there's an issue with bash itself.

Yea I don't know I was just looking at the changes GodofGrunts made last night. It didn't make sense to me either. I have no clue what the problem is. I just reverted to the last revision I made (17) and am building now.

Its definitely my build box. Now to find out what the hell is wrong with it.

Well I have no idea why I can't get working build off my Arch box. Maybe my overclock is going bad? I'm getting a Null pointer dereference error and since I'm not having any problems building from a VM (other than it takes forever) I'm assuming something is going wrong during the build.
That's weird dude... Are both the VM and the you main rig fully up to date?

Yep. I can't figure it out so I'm just going to rebuild the box. In the meantime my work is going to be slowed down because it now takes twice as long to build a test image
post #50 of 163
It may not be just you - I just tried both version 20 and 19...And got a kernel panic in a brand-new VM. So it's not just you
