FrankenPC is putting out wild numbers.... 20000 to himself alone. I've only hit 12000 and fold 24/7 on my Core2Duo @ 3.2 ... the extra cache of the the E6600 + the extra 300MHz really do make a diffrence it seems.

his machine also has no drivers and/or other background programs running everything except folding (and maybe anti virus) is just like freshly installing windows... I'm glad he's on my team! lol

No virus scanning, no auto updating, no nothing. Static internal IP address. Large jobs, forceasm and advmethods enabled.

It's the CPU + the P5B deluxe + the GSKill working in tandem. No single device could do it alone (Like our team . Goooo OWNERS! ) .

But, in my rig, I think the MoBo is the single fastest component out of the three. In my experience the Asus P5B Del. is the fastest motherboard on the planet. I've used 975X and NV4's, but the CPU to RAM data bus on the P5B makes them look like they are standing still. My GSkill is running reliably at 1.1GHZ with 5-4-5-5 timings stock voltage. That's sick!

October was a great month for our team folding competition. For the first time, two teams broke the 50k barrier with another team knocking on the door. Congratulations to Team owners and kudos to everyone who participated in the competition last month. We will be welcoming more teams to the competition in November.
  1. 58378 Team owners
  2. 52059 Team MHz Masters
  3. 49330 Team Çorę
  4. 39616 Team Ascension
  5. 38550 Team Zang!
  6. 36805 Team Just Be Cause
  7. 33076 Team CPU Burners
  8. 32883 Team Average Joes
  9. 31174 Team TOFTOF
  10. 26716 Team Slow-'n-Low
  11. 24510 Team ArMaDa
  12. 22173 Team Folders Inc.
  13. 19677 Team Lone Folders
  14. 19278 Team Mixers
  15. 19244 Team The 939's
  16. 19214 Team Overclock Foldowzers
  17. 14725 Team PFFT
  18. 14682 Team AyBaBu
  19. 14070 Team X-Treme
  20. 10505 Team Lean Mean Folding Machines
  21. 10456 Team Orphanage
  22. 8434 Team AMD Folders
Teams that are not listed in bold above are shy at least one active folder, and two of the teams only have one active folder. The single folder teams will be removed from the competition at the second update of the month (on or around Nov. 12) if they have not added active team members.

Please remember - this is competition is not just for power folders. Any and all active folders are welcome. Teams do not have to have active folders to do well in the competition. We have one casual folder on my team and one guy that can't make his mind up on gear long enough to do much folding , and we still ended up in second place last month. The important thing is to actively contribute to whatever level you can.

Our teams total 595,555 points this month, and that's not counting extra cores. I think that's pretty impressive.

Great job everyone!

I believe with team x-treme, i am the only 24/7 folder, anjokid is not folding at the moment so we are aware all 4 members are not folding.

Congrats everyone!
