i have audigy2 zs with the front control panel can i upgrade to X-fi and use the same control panel or do i have to buy the X-fi equivilant

I think you might be able to get it to work... but there is no official compatibility.

if you want to sell your faceplate for the audigy 2 zs I might be interested... oh wait... shipping would probably be way too much!
