Heres my 24/7 clock, i'm sure I could tweak it to run at 3.8ghz though.

6mb of cache unlocked, 4th core disabled; I can get it to run at X4 3.8ghz.. but the 4th core get's rounding errors at any frequency.

I just got mine yesterday from the egg for $74 shipped. Is definitely a faster proc than my old 7750 Kuma.

I got mine to unlock simply by setting ACC to "auto" but even tho CPUZ showed a Phenom II X4, Overdrive and Task Manager only showed 1 core. I heard this happens sometimes so I didnt pay it any mind til I ran my Crysis benchmark. Stock, I was getting 31 FPS. With it unlocked (and at stock clock) I was getting 22!!! It was crawling. And the CPU monitor was showing some very high usage. And Core Temp wouldnt read the temp and neither would Overdrive.

Thats a little too squirrelly for me so I set it back to stock. 3 very fast CPU cores for $74 - I can live with that.

Ill try some overclocking later. Not looking for anything major. Something in the 3.2-3.4 neighborhood with the stock cooler and Vcore.

Got mine up to 3.402 pretty easy. I used the stock cooler and it works really well. My Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 kept my old 7750 Kuma at 50 degrees with a 3.2 overclock but this stocker keeps my temps at 43-44 with a 3.4 overclock. Im sure its due to the CPU simply being a better proc but its still impressive to keep cool temps with a pretty stout overclock.

For some reason, my BIOS shows default voltage to be 1.40 even tho everywhere else shows around 1.35 but just to be safe I left it at 1.4.

I ran Prime95 for several hours while surfing online and its perfectly stable.

Later on Ill probably invest in a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ and see how far I can go. Right now Im pretty impressed.

If you haven't figured it out yet you can go to MSCONFIG and go to the boot tab then click advanced settings. Then set the number of processors to 1 and uncheck it. After reboot all the cores should show.

Enable ACC and turn EC Mode to Hybrid, should unlock that last core. Also, go into msconfig and change the number of processors to 4.

Lastly, you should stress test with OCCT Linpack if you are going to use OCCT, the regular test doesn't stress the IMC/NB, which is where you're going to hit problems at 3.7GHz+.

And I don't believe there is a way to do that without taking apart your PC.
