Nice o/c ! You were able to unlock the L3,any luck on the forth core ? Almost seems like the chances of getting a clammed up Deneb core are better with the 425's rather than the 435's...

Nice Fishy project by the way !

I've had my 425 for about a month now. Just got a new board, ram and case, so I have been ocing a bit. 3.645 is the absolute highest I can boot on stock heatsink and fan. Backed it down to 3.3 for everyday use. I can't unlock the 4th core, but will be tinkering a bit in the next couple of days.

Add me in, built my first PC recently. Been toying around with OC'ing (I am a noob at it), have gotten my x3 440 to 3.6GHz, however, I've been leaving my CPU voltage on Auto---> is this a bad idea? The CPU voltage usually goes to about 1.525 max when I'm monitoring in CPU-z...

I'm not sure of anything confirmed, but most would suggest not doing it on auto. For me, I turn off anything auto, CPU or RAM related.

Ok thanks for the advice, I've switched the Vcore from "auto" to 1.475, along with dropping my HT speed down a notch which seems to allow me to stable-overclock higher to 3.675MHz.

I've gotten 3.675 with Vcore @ 1.475 on my x3 440, stable. May go for more later. I'm really digging the performance in sc2 beta

I got the same chip man, and clocked at 3.6 as well, at 3.6 it runs at low volts im running at 1.4 I wouldnt leave it on auto might give you an unstable OC, im tyring to get a higher OC but I keep getting blue screened, im still learning so trying to figure out why, but here my CPUZ.

Haha I like the background behind your CPUZ . Have you tried dropping the speed of your ram down 1 notch? I dropped mine from originally 1600 to 1333, which helped me stabilize during my OC.
